Fantastic food and good service. Quite expensive would be my only critical feedback. I really enjoyed my experience and will 100% return.

Excellent quality food at this great village pub-restaurant. Their menu is really well thought through and dishes are very well presented. There were a number of interesting fish and seafood options (the cod cheeks and sea trout were both delicious, and beautifully cooked) that you dont often get at pubs. Staff were great too. Id definitely return here. A friend has just moved nearby and Im a bit jealous...
We stayed locally in self catering accommodation and ate out for dinner here one night, and dropped in for a couple of drinks on another.Really nice place, good staff, excellent food.Despite a previous reviewer not enjoying the steak pie, I ordered this and really liked it. It was a well filled pie which did have some steak mince in it but it wasn't a big salty nightmare for me. I loved it. Different strokes for different folks though, right?
