A truly local pub away from the tourists. Friendly, local crowds enjoying a nice evening with friends and family. Worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. Prices are most reasonable and about half of what you'd pay in London.
Food is good and wholesome , but staff were a bit brusque. Had to wait until 5pm on the dot to order food.Quite a dark old fashioned pub.
Good range of beers, Rev. James is glorious regular pint here. Food was simple but hot and beautifully prepared.Good value and service.
