Great food locally sourced. Fairly priced. Large array of drinks. Bar prices could be more affordable but its no place for riff raff
This is a very comfortable place to stay. The staff, accommodation, food and drinks are simply great.The staff, each and every one we "encountered" are so friendly and polite. They make you feel so welcome. Whilst the menu is not extensive (by no means is this a negative!), the quality of the food is exceptional. My wife and I were impressed at the range of tastes catered for. We were very pleased with our food. We will certainly stay at the Peacock again.
Can't love this place enough. We're in here regularly as the food is great and the staff are lovely. Dog friendly too, they provide boot covers if you have muddy boots too. They have accommodation and their own brewery on site.
Lovely welcoming decor. Cosy atmosphere. The food was first class. Very friendly and helpful staff. Misty today but there are obviously stunning views on a clear day
Had breakfast here this morning. The food was delicious but massively over-priced. The staff were pleasant and helpful but, unfortunately, this does not compensate for the very poor value for money. One sausage, two rashers of bacon, one mushroom and a spoonful of baked beans for 7. The sausage and bacon were very high quality but this breakfast did not justify a 7 price tag for just four items. Need to seriously review the pricing structure, as I doubt there will be much 'repeat business'. Most people, I suspect, will visit once, get stung and not return. I for one will not be returning, which is a shame as it is a lovely location and the quality of the products is undeniable. A place for those with more money than sense, to visit regularly.
