We have not been in this area very long, and was very worried about the doctors in Dronfield, our old doctor was magnificent, caring, polite, every thing you could wish for in a doctor. We was recommended to use this surgery. So fare its all gone well, receptionist, nurses and doctors are good, except for one we are a little unsure about, but time will tell i suppose. Getting appointments is a little hard. There suppose to on line appointments but it comes up as no appointments available this happens every time. On the phone there is nothing. only way to try and get one is to queue out side the surgery before 8am. Think appointment system could or should be made better. So fare we have no complaints about repeat prescription its gone ok. We order on the surgerys web, and its at the chemist with in 48 hours, but we do order 4 days before, only hold up is the chemist, when you go to pick it up its not ready, so you have to stand and wait or call back to the chemist, so the problem is with the chemist not having it ready. All we can say is thank so far to all at Dronfield Medical centre.

I am very satisfied with this surgery. The doctors and receptionists are always friendly and there to help. I generally do not have problems getting an appointment if I ring first thing. The rule is to keep on redialing. :)

I would like this to be a fair review so that it helps other to decide to use this surgery or not. Staff are great with a wide variety of Drs. as you would expect some are better than others. Booking appointments used to be bad but at the time of writing waiting times can be short, 2-5 days anything urgent same day if you are prepared to wait. This being said I have just booked a telephone appointment and this has been offered at the earliest in 10 days time, its not urgent so not a problem. I'm just about to move to another surgery as my biggest gripe is the time it takes to get repeat prescriptions, it is quoted as 48 hours but can be anywhere from 3-7 days. Today's debacle is my prescription ordered on Friday morning is still not at the Chemist and it is now Tuesday afternoon but from the Surgery's point of view the prescription was written on Friday and therefore "completed" despite it not being available to prescribe. the whole prescription system is disconnected and I fear it may be the same at other surgeries...

A nightmare of accusations and poor health care .more interested in ignoring alements than diagnosis .....

Terrible customer service, Practice Manager was rude and cut me off would recommend avoiding this surgery! However, Receptionist was fairly friendly
